Gerald Vardzel has more than 20 years of corporate experience spanning many diverse areas of the healthcare industry, including molecular diagnostics, life science tools and applications, clinical and non-clinical pharmaceutical business segments, drug delivery systems, clinical laboratory services, medical testing, and medical devices.

His expertise includes equity financing, strategic planning, market intelligence, merger and acquisitions and new market development in both start-up and established corporate settings.

He has developed innovative strategies with strategic partners for both the CLIA and FDA regulatory paths defining the delivery chain from discovery to clinical acceptance.

Vardzel has significant expertise in designing and implementing sales and marketing programs to expand sales, assess client satisfaction, increase market share, grow revenue, and improve operations and maximize profitability.

Over the years, Vardzel has held significant leadership positions with both diagnostic and medical device companies. He has also held management positions with several Clinical Research Organizations (CROs) where he developed business models for growth strategies and acquisition integration. In addition, he has consulted for small to mid-sized private equity firms as an executive affiliate in the healthcare industry to determine acquisition feasibility and growth.

Vardzel received his bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Political Science.
